Queens Cottage was built in the 1950's to provide accommodation for her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II when she visited the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electricity Scheme, to officially open the Snowy 1 Power Station.

Our facilities are continually improved to ensure your stay away from home is as comfortable as possible.

Our facilities include twin and double rooms for a maximum of twelve people. We also have a self contained cabin (sleeping up to 6) and another two fully furnished townhouses available in the township of Khancoban, both sleeping a maximum of 6.

Our large communal lounge room features several area's to sit, relax and wind down. Our lounge room features television sets and a tourism corner to ensure your break is everything you want it to be!

Perhaps you want to spend some quiet time reading a book on our balcony over looking the Main Range and Khancoban Lake? Or just sitting back with old and new friends enjoying the uninterrupted views!

Our dining room is adjacent to our lounge room. Continental Breakfast is served daily - perhaps a morning read of the regional  or national newspaper, breakfast and spectacular view is just your style?

Our latest project is our new swim spa - due to be released in the coming months, our large swim spa with full decking area is sure to add the luxury component to your home away from home stay. Stay tuned for more information!
